 Pardoned
is a southern gospel trio based out of Arkansas and members
include couple Lee and Gina Harper from Whitehall. The trio
features traditional southern gospel as well as light
contemporary gospel and was formed in January, 2005. In
August 2006 God opened the door for the group to be full
time ministry. The group performs at churches, revivals,
homecomings, and wherever God opens the doors. They have
shared the stage with many well-known artists, including:
The Hinson's, Arnold's, The MaHarrey’s, and Karen Peck
& New River. They have promoted many gospel concerts in
the Pine Bluff area and have been recognized for many talent
awards in the field of gospel music. They recently made the
top five ballot for New Excelling Artist of 2007 Southern
Gospel Music FanFair Awards held annually in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. The couple in the group shares a dynamic
testimony that many congregations and youth groups need to
hear. They spent time behind prison walls for drug charges,
and were both saved while serving time in the Arkansas
Department of Corrections. They have been out of prison for
over 15 years, and this testimony that they share will
change lives. The name they chose for the group reflects how
all of us are Pardoned by Jesus!
