We first met these folks by what we believe was Devine
Intervention. We were suppose to be attending a
benefit with Paul Lambert representing Praise 96.3 (Knoxville's
premier CHRISTian radio station) at a North Knoxville church
house, the benefit got cancelled, so we accompanied Paul to
Wooddale Freewill Baptist Church (GREAT bunch of folks),
where we found out HOPE'S CALL trio had rescheduled
themselves to attend when they, too, were notified of a
cancellation for January 22nd, a prior commitment.
Folks, to say we were impressed with HOPE'S CALL would be
the understatement of the century. Paul Lambert, being
the MC, introduced the group, and from literally the first
words sung just blew us away. I looked at Carolyn and I knew
by the look on her face, she too, was amazed at the groups
voices... I grabbed a pencil and paper, and passed Carolyn a
little note that simply read: HOPE'S CALL: Re-Defining
Harmony...Ya' All!!!
Song after song, unbelievable super-tight three-part
harmony, reconfirmed what we already knew, that the Lord had
put them, Paul Lambert and ourselves together for us to be
able to uplift this group anyway we can, humbly using all
the resources of www.SmokyMountainGospel.com
& www.DiscoverTheSmokies.com
that he chose us to be steward's of, along with, of course,
Paul Lambert, one of the most brilliant, gifted radio
personalities we have ever met...PERIOD.
The group consists of mother Donna Beauvais, daughter
Jessica, and Jessica's love of her life, her husband Eddie
Harrison, whom although he did not actually preach, by his
comments and knowledge of the Word of God telling everyone
there that God loves each and everyone of us beyond
measure...not because of WHAT we can or can not do...but
UNCONDITIONALLY, we are sure he COULD have preached, if led
so by the Spirit, in a 'quick-second!' Donna humbly
told everyone how privileged she felt that our awesome
Father chose HER to be a part of sharing worship and
ministering through song, then sang 'Oh Holy Night' (a
requested song off their CHRISTmas project named "This
Night") head-and-shoulders better than I have EVER
heard ANYONE sing it, ending in a church-wide standing
ovation! Jessica's singing of ALABASTER BOX had me in
tears and 'numb', feeling like my 'in-sides' were about to
explode and become 'out-sides' (haha). There is a special
'anointing' about these folks, and we believe that they have
a burning passion to let everyone 'that has an ear' know of
God's message...that 'HOPE NEVER CHANGES', and we believe
that many, many souls will be led unto our Lord & Savior
Christ Jesus through their gifted ministry. We also
met Donna's husband Paul, a super-nice guy that obviously
really knows sound engineering like the back of his hand,
again, confirming that the Lord has equipped HOPE'S CALL to
do a mighty work for the Kingdom of God.
The group has been singing together for 5 years. After much
prayer 3 1/2 years ago they decided it was time to go into
singing as a full time family ministry. They sing 3 times
every weekend traveling all over the United States. Eddie
joined the group and fell madly in love with Jessica and
they have now been married for a little over a year
traveling together and singing their hearts out for the
LORD!
In closing, we highly recommend everyone to try and get this
group to your own church house, and if all your singing
dates are already booked for the rest of 2005...we suggest
you ADD A SPECIAL SINGING DAY and have Donna, Eddie, Jessica
(AND Paul <smile>) HAVE CHURCH with you all, at your
very first opportunity...you will be GLAD you did
